As a co-founder,  Dr. Bethea saw the need to bridge the gap between educator development and the diverse and unique needs of various school districts in the US.

At i-RISE USA, our story began with a shared passion and relentless pursuit of educator excellence and professional advancement. 

As a co-founder,  Dr. Bethea saw the need to bridge the gap between educator development and the diverse and unique needs of various school districts in the US. 

As an experienced educator herself, Dr. Bethea believes in embracing diversity to forge respect; cultivating muticultural atmosphere to build deeper professional connection, and upholding the teaching profession for continued growth.

As an educational leader and consultant, Dr. Bethea lays down the foundation for success as evident in her laser-focused approach to problem solving and professional efficacy, which, are critical to impacting positive outcomes for all students.

 Dr. Ireneo Rios, Jr. is an accomplished educator and leader with nearly two decades of experience in special education and instructional leadership. He is committed to serving diverse learners and supporting schools through educational equity, compliance, and student-centered best practices.

 Dr. Ireneo Rios, Jr. is an accomplished educator and leader with nearly two decades of experience in special education and instructional leadership. He is committed to serving diverse learners and supporting schools through educational equity, compliance, and student-centered best practices.

As a former J1 teacher, Dr. Rios understands the transformative power of cultural exchange. He values diversity and inclusivity as essential to fostering cross-cultural understanding and enriching educational communities.

Inspired by his own journey, Dr. Rios co-founded i-RISE USA to provide a collaborative and ethical approach to teacher placement and consulting. Through strategic partnerships and personalized guidance, i-RISE USA empowers global educators to secure meaningful teaching opportunities in the United States.

Introducing Dr. Torrefranca,  who has dedicated to serving the students of Baltimore City since 2006. Dr. Torrefranca has a Masters Degree in Special Education and a Doctorate Degree in Educational Management.  She is also a National Board Certified for Exceptional Needs since 2014.

Drawing from her own experience as an international teacher, Dr. Torrefranca has a great understanding of the challenges faced by educators transitioning to the U.S. Her firsthand knowledge has shaped her view on what international teachers truly need and that is to provide them with tailored support, pre and post arrival, as they navigate this transition. Her academic journey and extensive teaching experience has equipped her with the skills and insights necessary to guide and empower her fellow educators during this process.
